Food, glorious food?

As you have seen, we have eaten some great food already - Japanese and western. But some restaurants here have some rather funny things on the menu!

Maybe we will have to wash it down with a glass of the finest "sperkling" wine?!?

Now we have all head of a "pain au chocolat". But below is a picture of Clare with a "pain au curry"! That's a new one!

The sign in the picture below looked like a totally normal office directory. Until you see that the 8th floor appears to be totally dedicated to donuts!

And what about these cocktails on our hotel bar menu? They're new to us!

At least if you ever get thirsty when you are out and about there are vending machines seemingly on every street corner!

This morning we went for sushi (see separate post) but Clare refused to have the "healthy set for ladies". Outrageous.

Maybe we'll take some Japanese liquor and cheese home with us. After all it does have "souvenir use"!

But whatever these are, I don't think they'll be making the cut...
